The warm, just-before-sunset lighting on this mat makes my Victorian city battles feel like they're happening at dusk. Figures sit flat and don't slide around, which is more than I can say for my old cardboard setup.

The cobblestone texture and the just-before-sunset lighting make my Victorian gang skirmishes feel like they're happening on an actual street. Layout is flat right out of the tube, no curling at the corners even after a few weeks rolled up between games.
